I had a gen4 19 that I sold and upgraded to a 19x. It came out a week or two ago and I can't find it anywhere else in my area. I drove 45 minutes to catch one of these. However, the feeling is heavier, but the seat is more comfortable when pointing down. It's more balanced. I've also noticed a significant improvement in my coordination compared to when I was 19. Although I don't have side-by-side testing, you can probably record this just to enjoy a new game, but really still. One thing I thought was that there were serrations on both sides of the gun as well, but it's not really necessary or it's a breaker. The instrument is nice and simple as expected from a Glock. The first time I was in the range with the 19x I was still digging a 1-2 inch hole at 7 yards. It's a car!!! No problem with that. My only problem is finding the Coyote books for it. I'm glad I bought this piece. I am finishing up my M&P VTac 9mm for the 19x.

I love this gun. I went to buy a Gen 4 19. They didn't have it. I read so much about this gun that I had to grab it and when I bought it, I got it for 602 plus tax.
Just got the G19X a few weeks ago. A little skeptical based on the reviews, but I have to say I like the combo 17 and 19. I like the extra mags and attachments. Just waiting for more users to compare the flat earth cut. All in all, it's a very solid and reliable gun that does what it's supposed to do.
It's been a long time. Used 17 of '86 and had no problems, not even close. Also love the 19 but don't buy it due to the short length. The problem was solved in 19X. Love to see it chambered in .357 Sig. G31X. I miss the legs of the Gen 3. Great guns but it works in black or FDE. Thanks to Glock. Apple with this.

Really love this Glock, I really want the Army to carry it instead. I love the color and finish of the gun. It will shoot like a dream and you will have high quality magazines with it. Anyway, these are my days now. I recommend finding a range with a try, you won't be disappointed.
Everything you need for a service shot and an EDC. It runs well for 12 hours carrying EDC, and with a long grip and long bits, it gives you quick access to your kydex work. Perfect cross between 17 and 19 with Gen 5 improvements. No finger is a plus. The horizontal magnetic well is the connector. I am left handed so the left release and slide is a plus.
